Be a Movie Star.
At one point in our lives, we have dreamed of becoming a star. We want to know what it’s like to be a big star. If you will be given a chance to become a star even for just one night, will you go for it? I bet you would. Who doesn’t want to be a star, anyway?
I think this is the reason why karaoke became popular with so many people. They can sing the songs of their favorite singers using a karaoke. But if you can be a pop star or a rock star using a karaoke, there is now a revolutionary technology in entertainment that will allow you to play the role of your favorite movie star in a popular movie. Yes, you heard it right. You can now become the star of a movie, TV show or video with this innovative technology. By using the Yoostar camera and software, you can now choose the role you wish to play in a particular movie scene and record yourself imitating the actor you selected. Imagine, seeing yourself in a movie in place of Vin Diesel or Dwayne Johnson! That would be fun, isn’t it? You will get to see yourself in an action packed movie you will never thought possible? What more can you ask for? Yoostar really rocks!
The good thing about this is you can later upload the video in Youtube or any networking site for all your friends to see.
Try using Yoostar now and get to live out your fantasies.

Pilipinas Got Talent Premieres Today

After six weeks of searching for talented Filipinos all over the country, the much-awaited reality show Pilipinas Got Talent is set to air its pilot episode today, February 20.
Brace yourselves as PGT promises to showcase what Filipinos are made of. They will be showing a wide range of world-class acts from the usual singing, dancing, and acting pieces all the way to the bizarre, hilarious and never-before-seen performances.
The Kapamilya network acquired the Got Talent franchise which is a British TV format conceived and owned by Simon Cowell’s SYCO Company. It will be the first and only nationwide talent reality show in the Philippines.
PGT is hosted by Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano and it will be shown every Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 8:30 PM.
You can also catch the funny moments and unseen footages of PGT via “Pilipinas Got More Talent” which will be aired weekdays, 4:30 PM. It will be hosted by Marc Abaya.
Meet The Judges:

Freddie M. Garcia - He has a vital role in PGT not only because he is a former ABS-CBN President and COO but more in lieu of the fact that he is the man behind the success of celebrity A-listers such as Sharon Cuneta, Judy Ann Santos, Willie Revillame, Piolo Pascual, and even Kris Aquino. FMG claims that he will be fair but very analytical when it comes to looking for the ‘x-factor’ amongst the contenders.

Kris Aquino - Known as the Queen of All Media, Kris has worn every hat imaginable from being an award-winning host and box office queen to being the top and most effective endorser in the country. Here in PGT, will she be as sweet as an angel or will she be at her most intimidating stance when dealing with the contestants?

Ai-ai delas Alas - The Concert Comedy Queen may be the last addition to the panel of judges but a lot of Kapamilya viewers are already excited for her to provide comic relief in the show. But when asked what type of judge she plans to be, she naughtily replies, “I will be witty, funny, and maldita!”

A Great Vacation.
Working in a stressful environment like a call center can take its toll on one’s health. Irate customers, the demand to meet your metrics, pressure to perform better for the team can all add up to burn out. It will not be long and you will feel so uptight and ill-tempered and before you know it, you’re resigning from your job.
I’ve been working in this industry for almost 5 years and what I can only suggest to cope with this problem is to maintain balance between work and fun. If you feel that the pressure on your work is starting to bother you, then it is time to relax and take a vacation. Remember that burn out can even cost us our jobs if we didn’t take the opportunity to loosen up.
This is the reason why I am always looking forward to a great vacation every year. Yes, I always want it to be the best no matter what the cost may be.
Recently, I saw pictures of a good friend who is in South Carolina who had a great time in Myrtle Beach Resorts. He was all praises for the modern accommodation that they experienced in the beautiful Prince Resort at the entrance to The Cherry Grove Pier.
He and his wife fell in love with the tranquil beauty of Myrtle Beach Resort, with its waterfront location perfect for relaxing and other leisure activities. He said that Prince Resort has excellent customer service and has many dining options. Add to the Myrtle Beach Accomodations the other thrilling features in the resort like the dazzling pools, lazy river, and hot tubs. It would even be great to play a few rounds of golf in this resort.
I was totally envious of my friend so I started planning a great vacation for myself in the coming months. But if you’re near South Carolina and you want to go to the beach for a romantic getaway or a large family reunion, check out Myrtle Beach Accommodations and make your ocean adventure the best ever!

Wearing bigger clothes.
I bumped into an old friend this morning. He stopped me while I was about to enter the elevator on my way to the office. He noticed how I gain so much weight from the last time we saw each other. It was not even a year since the last time I saw him. We work on the same building but we have different schedules.
I know that what my friend told me was intended as a compliment but for me it was some sort of reality check. It’s true that most people prefer the new “me” than what I was, a skinny chap. But I really felt more comfortable when I was leaner and slim. I can do things quickly without being too much exhausted.
Not to mention that my old clothes no longer fits. In fact, I can see myself buying new and bigger sizes clothes in the next couple of days. I may need to purchase bigger jeans and shirts. I even stopped at a website while I was browsing the internet the other day. I came across a website with a wide array of fashionable clothes for men. The Jacamo Men’s Clothing looks great. The clothes are trendy and fashionable even for those that are for big enough for my size.
I hate to admit it but I really need to go to the gym and lose a couple of pounds. Or I will end up wearing plus size clothing.

However, the voting for the “Big Winner” is still on. Whoever gets the highest number of text votes by February 13 will be proclaimed this season’s “Big Winner.”
This was the first time in PBB's history that Big Brother publicly revealed the voting standing of the remaining housemates. Big Brother said it was his way of showing his gratitude to PBB’s loyal viewers.

Santino, Rubi and Fashion
So, what’s new in the Kapamilya network?
Well, one of ABS-CBN’s top-rating teleserye “May Bukas Pa” aired its final episode yesterday after a year of inspiring millions of televiewers. The teleserye starring Zaijan Jaranilla who is now better known as Santino, the character he played in the TV series showcased a star-studded finale with no less than ABS-CBN President Charo Santos appearing in the show as Virgin Mary. Aside from the network’s president, a plethora of Kapamilya stars also appeared in the show.
Meanwhile, I heard that StarStudio magazine, a magazine being published by ABS-CBN Publishing Inc., hosted a party featuring one of the most awaited new primetime series, Rubi last February 2 with a fitting theme, Latino Night. The upcoming TV series which will be top-billed by Angelica Panganiban, Shaina Magdayao, Diether Ocampo and Jake Cuenca was an adaptation of a Mexican Telenovela which was also aired in ABS-CBN.
What I like about the magazine is it brings ordinary people closer to their favorite stars. It features stars and celebrities dressed in fashionable clothes. Some ladies actually purchase the magazine and other celebrity magazine just to look for the current trend in fashion.
Speaking of fashion, more and more people are becoming conscious on how they look. Regardless of their sizes, people are looking for fashionable and trendy clothes. No wonder why there’s a growing number of boutiques and specialty shops catering to plus size clothes. I also saw a couple of websites offering trendy and fashionable plus size dresses and jeans like SimplyBe Women’s Clothing. Plus sizes yet trendy clothes are sometimes hard to find but this is certainly not a problem anymore. This website now makes it easy for people to look great with their large array of plus size ladies jeans and dresses.

Cheryl Cosim bids goodbye to the Kapamilya network

Cheryl Cosim, the host of multi-awarded TV show “Salamat Dok,” bade goodbye to her colleagues at ABS-CBN and to the network's viewers and listeners.
In a letter sent late Thursday to all her Kapamilyas, Cosim, who is moving to network TV5, said she has enjoyed working with the country's biggest network, ABS-CBN, for almost 14 years.
"To my dear Kapamilyas, as most of you already know, it is my last week after almost 14 wonderful years with the company. I have learned, grown and enjoyed my tenure here and I appreciate having had the opportunity to work with most of you. I would like to sincerely thank each one of you for every experience shared, friendship made, opportunity offered and good times had during this time. Thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided me during my time here at ABS-CBN," Cosim said.
Cosim said leaving ABS-CBN was the hardest decision she has ever made. She said she will miss all her friends and the people she has worked with. Cosim said that she's looking forward to new challenges at TV5.
"Leaving the company is one of the hardest decisions I have made in my life. It's harder to decide maybe because, as my youngest sister told me 'either way, it's a blessing... not too many people get to choose between two good things...," she said.
Entertainment columnist Ricky Lo of The Philippine Star wrote in his column last Tuesday that Cosim had accepted TV5’s lucrative offer.
Citing reports, Lo said Cosim will anchor TV5’s primetime newscast alongside Paolo Bediones, formerly with GMA 7, starting March.
Aside from “Salamat Dok,” Cosim hosts a morning show on radio dzMM, and from time to time, anchors Channel 2’s News Advisory.

The May 2010 Philippine election is just around the corner. It will be hard not to notice that we are now in the election period as even watching Television can now be irritating with the barrage of political advertisement from different politicos at this early. To think that the campaign period has not yet officially commenced.
It is in this light that it even crossed my mind to start a blog about the upcoming election. It would be a breath of fresh air to blog about politics for a change. I may start looking for cheap web hosting now to host this new blog.

Back for good.
After two months of inactivity on this blog, I’m finally back!
There were no updates or new posts during that period. If you want to know the reason why this poor blogger was missing-in-action for two months, you can visit my other blog. Needless to say, I really missed blogging. I missed blog hopping or visiting blogs of fellow bloggers, reading their articles, leaving comments and dropping Entrecard.
It really feels great to be back. I can't wait to catch up with everyone!
I was only away for only two months but time really flies very fast. A lot of things can happen in a short period time. I realized this when I was blog hopping. Some of the blogs that I used to visit are no longer active. The URL’s who used to house these blogs will now redirect you to websites offering travel packages or sites offering credit management. I even encountered blogs offering abacus debt management which I find interesting. Not that I have unmanageable debts but I really find it great to see websites offering assistance for those who have problems with their finances.
I wonder what happened to those bloggers who decided to quit blogging. Anyway, each of us has our own reasons for doing what we think is right.
That’s all for now… I’m really glad to be back.
