Florinda premieres today.

After the success of “Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara” and “Maligno” the third installment of the Susan Roces Cinema Collection series will now air its pilot episode today on ABS-CBN. “Florinda” which stars the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano is now ready to change the face of primetime TV as it promises to bring terror and suspense to primetime viewers.

Maricel plays Florinda, a successful career woman who decides to marry her boyfriend Ramil. But Ramil’s mother Doña Cristina disapproves of her daughter-in-law to be, and she dies with a grudge in her heart. Florinda pushes through with tying the knot, but on the wedding day Ramil fails to show up. She is convinced that someone is behind her fiance’s disappearance, and her desperate search takes her to the edge of her sanity. Florinda begins to have horrifying experiences, but can she really trust what she sees?

Florinda is directed by Rahyan Carlos who also helmed horror film Pamahiin and the man in-charge of acting workshops in ABS-CBN. The show also stars Jay Manalo, Cherry Pie Picache, Roxanne Guinoo, William Martinez, Nikki Gil, Zanjoe Marudo, and Carla Martinez. Maricel Soriano shines bright as she returns to TV

Maricel Soriano, the country’s “Diamond Star” once again takes center stage via the new TV series “The Susan Roces Cinema Collection: Florinda” soon to air on ABS-CBN.

Multi-awarded and respected, Maricel is most known as a dramatic actress but she now returns to television in her best element as she plays Susan Roces’ role as Florinda, a woman who loves unconditionally and who will do anything to fight for what she believes in.

Joining her are some of the brightest veteran TV personalities such as Cherry Pie Picache, Jay Manalo and William Martinez. The series also stars promising young celebrities Roxanne Guinoo, Nikki Gil and Zanjoe Marudo.

The Diamond Star is out to make a big comeback in Primetime TV in the upcoming chapter of the “Sineserye Presents: The The Susan Roces Cinema Collection".
Maricel Soriano will star in “Florinda”, another series adapted from a classic movie of Susan Roces.

Keeping the tradition of horror and showcases of high caliber performances, followers of "Sineserye Presents: The Susan Roces Cinema Collection" can expect "Florinda" to a terrifying and spine-tingling experience.

The last two series of The Susan Roces Cinema Collection also brought successful comebacks on television.
