Ryan Agoncillo is still a Kapamilya

This is from the ABS-CBN news:

After doing the highly successful series "Ysabella" which ended in January, Ryan Agoncillo has yet to start any project on television for 2008. This noticeable absence from the limelight, along with the much-publicized problems girlfriend Judy Ann Santos has had with ABS-CBN, added fuel to rumors that he was ready to switch networks.

His last big project was the Metro Manila filmfest blockbuster "Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo" before he decided to lie low to focus on his passion for photography and car drifting among other things.

But the 29-year-old host/actor has yet to issue any official statement regarding any career decisions.

Currently in Europe for a month-long vacation with Juday, a highly reliable source tells ABS-CBN.com that before leaving the country, the actor had a closed-door meeting with ABS-CBN honchos.

In this meeting, Ryan was presented with one of three projects that he is slated to do for the network this year.

The first project, a drama series, reportedly received good feedback from Ryan who said he is ready to renew his contract as soon as he returns.

This is also in line with his decision to focus more on acting than hosting for the year.
