KC thrilled over new project with Piolo

KC Concepcion said it is an honor to be working with one of the country’s most-sought after leading man, Piolo Pascual.

“It’s an honor to be paired with Piolo this time around. I’m very excited about that,” Concepcion said.

KC and Piolo are set to star in the Filipino version of Korean television series “Lovers in Paris.” This is their first project together.

“Sobra siyang maalaga… he is a really, really good guy and playful din. Para siyang bata kaya nakakatuwa siyang makasama. Kahit mga workshop pa lang ang ginagawa namin ay nakikita ko na ang magiging samahan namin kaya nakakatuwa,” Concepcion said.

Concepcion said the cast and crew will start taping “anytime soon.”

The daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta also said that, if there is a guy closer to her right now, he would be Pascual especially now that they spend more time together for “Lovers in Paris.”

KC leads global walk vs hunger in Taguig

This is from the ABS-CBN news:

Actress KC Concepcion, United Nations World Food Program (WFP) ambassador, on Sunday led the walk against child hunger at the open field of Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

Dubbed as "End Hunger: Walk the World," the event, which was participated by an estimated 3,000 people, was aimed at raising public awareness and funds to feed 59 million poor children who attend schools on an empty stomach.

The participants began their walk at 6 a.m. and they circled around the open field for 30 minutes.

Concepcion urged the public to reach out and help the children who are dying because of hunger especially now that prices of basic commodities continue to go up.

Social Welfare Secretary Esperanza Cabral echoed Concepcion’s call, saying that each individual should do his own share to combat hunger.

The walk against hunger, an initiative of WFP, was simultaneously done in other countries.
