'Kapamilya Blockbusters' beats 'Willing Willie's' debut

ABS-CBN's "Kapamilya Blockbusters" toppled its rivals, including Willie Revillame’s new program, "Willing Willie," based on national television ratings of Kantar Media/TNS last Saturday October 23.

The national ratings of “Kapamilya Blockbusters,” which shows Filipino movies, received an audience share of 22.6% last Saturday, beating GMA 7’s “Wish Ko Lang" (11.2%), and TV5’s “Willing Willie" (13.6%).

“Willing Willie” aired its grand debut on October 23 starting at 5 p.m. after ABS-CBN failed to get a temporary restraining order on the airing of Revillame’s new TV program.

The country’s longest-running drama anthology, “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” (MMK) garnered 22.8% audience share, defeating “Kapuso Mo" (15.7%) of GMA 7 and "Talentadong Pinoy" (10.6%) of TV5.

Figures also show that “Wansapanataym’s” audience share reached 30.1% versus GMA 7’s “Jejemom" (15%) and TV5’s “Laugh or Lose" (11.3%).

“TV Patrol” was still the No. 1 news program last Saturday, getting 27% audience share compared to 14.7% of GMA 7’s "24 Oras."

"Showtime," which had its first anniversary presentation last Saturday, had a big 18.3% share against the 5.7% of GMA's Asar "Talo Lahat Panalo."

"Eat...Bulaga!" however, got 15% while ABS-CBN's new afternoon game show, Pilipinas Win Na Win! got 12.7%.

ABS-CBN Programs rule in National and Mega Manila ratings

Kapamilya shows are still the most-viewed programs in the country based on the data released by TNS Media Research Philippines for March 3, Wednesday.

"Wowowee" is still the number 1 daytime program while "Agua Bendita" is the most-watched program not only in Mega Manila but also in the entire country.

‘Habang May Buhay’ debuts at No. 4 in Nationwide TV rating

The new Kapamilya teleserye starring Judy Ann Santos and Derek Ramsay, "Habang May Buhay" aired its pilot episode last Monday garnering 30.4%, placing third in the TNS National TV ratings.

Precious Hearts Romances: Love is Only in the Movies starring Mariel Rodriguez and Zanjoe Marudo also aired its pilot episode last Monday placing 16th in the Top 20 and No. 5 in the daytime race nationwide.

ABS-CBN rules the August 24 TV ratings.

The morning broadcast of the Miss Universe 2009 scores high in the national TV ratings based on the data released by TNS Media Research. The beauty pageant registered a 22% ratings.

In the primetime ratings, “Tayong Dalawa” is at the top after it garnered a 40.2% rating. The pilot episode of two programs “Katorse” and “Dahil May Isang Ikaw” beat their rival programs.

NATIONAL Primetime Program Rankings for August 13 (Thursday)

A new program from the rival network has started this week but ABS-CBN Programs still dominate the Primetime Nationwide TV ratings based on the data released by TNS Media Research for August 13, 2009. Six Kapamilya programs are on the top 10 with 4 programs on the top 5.

TV Patrol World is on the number 1 spot with 37.6 followed by the teleserye "May Bukas Pa."

Wowowee is still the number 1 Daytime Program.

Even with the absence of its controversial host, Willie Revillame, the Kapamilya noontime show "Wowowee" is still the country's number one daytime program based on the data released by TNS Media Research Philippines for August 13 (Thursday). Reportedly, the host-comedian was on indefinite leave.

Other Kapamilya Programs like "Kambal Sa Uma" and "Precious Hearts Romances: Bud Brothers" also registered high national TV ratings.

MMK's anniversary presentation tops the weekend ratings


The first episode of the 18th anniversary special of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” tops the weekend ratings. The episode starring Erich Gonzales and Ai-ai Delas Alas registered a 35.2% in the national TV ratings based on the data released by TNS Media Research.

‘May Bukas Pa’ and ‘Only You’ Hits over 40% ratings nationwide

The number one TV show in the country, "May Bukas Pa" peaked again last Monday night, July 20, by garnering 42.7 percent after an impressive 42.2% rating last Thursday based on the data released by Taylor Nelson Sofres.

Primetime Bida wins in the national TV ratings

Based on the data released by TNS Media Research for Tuesday, July 15, 2009, Kapamilya programs are still the most watched shows by Filipinos during primetime. “May Bukas Pa” is still the most watched program registering a 37% rating. Kapamilya programs maintain lead in the national TV ratings

ABS-CBN is maintaining its lead in the national TV ratings based on data released by TNS Media Research for Tuesday, July 14, 2009. The network garnered a 49% audience share nationwide for that day compared to the 34% of the rival station.

Kapamilya shows like “Kambal Sa Uma”, “Wowowee”, “May Bukas Pa” and “Only You” handily beat their rival programs.

ABS-CBN rules day and night TV ratings.


Kapamilya programs continue to dominate the national daytime and primetime television ratings based on the data released by TNS Media Research for Monday, July 13, 2009. Five ABS-CBN programs are the most watched shows in primetime with “May Bukas Pa” leading the pack.

“Only You” and “Tayong Dalawa” spoil debut of new rival program.


A new program premiered in primetime in the rival network but Kapamilya shows were still unbeaten in the ratings game based on the data released by TNS Media Research for Monday, July 6, 2009. The primetime teleserye, “May Bukas Pa” posted a 41.4% ratings while “Kambal sa Uma” and “Tayong Dalawa” beat their rival new programs.

The newest Koreanovela of ABS-CBN proved to be a big hit in the last data released by TNS Media Research for Thursday, May 28. It registered a rating of 30.9% to beat even the Teleseryes of the rival network.

Meanwhile, “May Bukas Pa” is still the number 1 program as it surpassed again the 40% mark with 40.1% last Thursday.
