Roxanne is Luis Manzano's newest on-screen partner in "Komiks Presents: Flash Bomba."


Roxanne Guinoo and Luis Manzano will work together for the first time on ABS-CBN’s "Komiks Presents: Flash Bomba."

Guinoo, who will play Manzano’s leading lady, said she is happy to be paired with the young actor.

"Okay siyang maka-trabaho. Professional ka-trabaho si Luis. Hindi ako nahirapang ka-trabaho siya kasi naka-trabaho ko na siya dati sa Star Circle Quest," Guinoo said.

Manzano was the host of the reality-based talent search contest wherein which Guinoo was one of the contenders.

Aside from being professional, the actress said Manzano is a gentleman.

Aside from Manzano, Guinoo will work again with Sid Lucero. Lucero and Guinoo's last project together was ABS-CBN's afternoon hit series "Ligaw Na Bulaklak."

"Flash Bomba" will premiere this coming February 7, replacing Shaina Magdayao's "Dragonna."

Guinoo is also part of the weekly all-female gag show "Banana Split" along with actresses Angelica Panganiban, Valerie Concepcion and Kristine Reyes.

Roxanne Guinoo and Jake Cuenca reunites on MMK.


The longest running drama anthology on TV “Maalaala Mo Kaya” welcomes the New Year by reuniting controversial former sweethearts actor Jake Cuenca and Roxanne Guinoo on its first opening salvo for 2009.

Roxanne and Jake will play the role of Sherly and Armand, a couple from Davao who has been together for years but are having difficulty having kids of their own. What if the wife admits that she is pregnant but with another man's child?

The episode is directed by Jeffrey Jeturian and written by Joan Habana.

"Ligaw Na Bulaklak" on its final week



ABS-CBN's daytime series "Ligaw na Bulaklak" is all set to conclude its successful run on Friday, October 24th after Wowowee after months on air.

The show's lead star, Roxanne Guinoo, has shown promise as a dramatic actress in this important TV project.

Sharing the screen with respected and multi-awarded actors like Sid Lucero,Noni Buencaminio, Ara Mina, Coco Martin, Mark Abaya, among others, has contributed to Roxanne's eagerness to portray her character well.

'Banana Split' premieres October 11.



“Banana Split” is set to serve the sweetest and hottest dessert on primetime television starring some of the most alluring and sexiest actresses of ABS-CBN.

The first all-female-gag show stars Angelica Panganiban, Cristine Reyes, Roxanne Guinoo and Valerie Concepcion. Also joining the wacky show are sultry celebrities RR Enriquez, Princess Ryan and Dianne Medina, which will tickle the funny bones of viewers.



According to Roxanne, doing comedy is a challenge for her since she is really into drama.

Christine said that doing comedy is lighter work for her since everything is funny and she really loves working with the other ‘Banana Split’ girls.

“Banana Split” which will air Saturdays will also showcase the hilarious side of guest actors like Zanjoe Marudo, Diether Ocampo, John Lloyd Cruz, Jake Cuenca and Sam Milby.

Edgar Mortiz, the show’s director, said that they would be inviting a hunk actor every week to balance the girls’ comedic antics.

“Banana Split is the female version of the 80’s hit gag show “Goin' Bananas,” which starred Bobot Mortiz, Christopher de Leon, Johnny Delgado and the late Jay Ilagan.

Watch the hottest girls in town doing comedy in “Banana Split,” which will premiere this Saturday, October 11 after “Maalaala Mo Kaya” only on ABS-CBN.
