When the project was confirmed, the actress said that she was really happy and excited now that young ones of this generation will be able to see all the good values from her old movie's story.

According to Locsin, the TV adaptation of her old film will have a lot of twists and additions.

Locsin, who is not a newbie in portraying a mother, said that she is also happy to be playing a mother for the shows’ lead stars - young actresses Melissa Ricks and Shaina Magdayao.

In the "Kambal sa Uma" movie, Locsin played the role of Ella (a half-human half-rat), the daughter of Milagros while in the TV series, Locsin will play the role of Milagros, the mother of Ella.

Hindi pala nakakalimutan at ngayon binabalik nila," she said.

Asked of what she can say with Ricks who will be doing her role bin the 1978 movie, Locsin replied: "Naku maghanda-handa sila.
