Ai-Ai is still box office comedy queen

Ai-Ai delas Alas has proven that she is still the box office comedy queen following the success of her movie "Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat (ATINL)" which continues to rule the 34th Metro Manila Film Festival's box office returns.

In her live interview with "The Buzz," Ai-ai extended her appreciation to all the moviegoers.

"Thank you po, thank you sa lahat, thank you sa Diyos," delas Alas said.

"Ayaw ko pong umiyak pero hindi ko alam kung paano ko pasasalamatan ang lahat ng tao sa Pilipinas, sa Metro Manila na talagang pumipila para sa Tanging Ina, lalo na po sa Visayas region, sa Cebu, sa Iloilo, lahat ng taga-Visayas, sa Mindanao, sa lahat po," delas Alas said as she broke into tears.

"Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat (ATINL)" depicts the story of a mother with her 12 children who runs for public office and eventually wins the presidency.

The actress also congratulated other Kapamilya stars who won in MMFF, including Anne Curtis in the film “Baler,” and Christopher de Leon in the movie “Magkaibigan.”

"And congratulations sa lahat ng nanalo sa MMFF, at sa Kapamilya po kay Anne, kay Christopher de Leon at sa lahat ng nanalo," she said.
