New PDF search engine.

I used to love reading books. I still maintain a collection of different books that i bought in the past. Although i no longer have the luxury of time to read just like before, I still get to read books from time to time especially if I fancy one. I usually search the internet for e-books in PDF format that I can read when I am free at the office.

I actually prefer reading e-books in PDF format than any other document format or the hardbound or paperback books because I can read it even when I'm at the office or when I'm at my computer at home.

Searching for e-books in PDF format is not an easy task. I used to visit forums and other websites to look for the e-books but sometimes I don't get positive results and searching is cumbersome since most PDF Search engines also index other file formats.

HOwever, I was delighted when I found a search engine for e-books in PDF format. The search engine has a complete regularly updated database which searches for and indexes files in PDF format. So if you are looking for e-books, you may want to try http://pdf.rapid4me.com/.

Japan's Pamaypay Boys video on PBB Double Up.

Pinoy Big Brother Double Up housemates will soon perform a version of Japan’s Pamaypay Boys as part of their task for the week. That is if “Kuya” will push through with the task which may not be suitable for television viewing. Big Brother even asked if the housemates will wear T-back or skintone while performing the dance number.

The housemates’ next challenge is to perform a dance number like the Pamaypay Boys video. Drinkin' Boyz is a Japanese group that is very popular here in the Philippines and they’ve become known as Pamaypay Boys. In the video, the boys are dancing with only fans or "pamaypay", they were totally undressed!

While the PBB housemates are still rehearsing their version, let’s first watch the original Japan's Pamaypay Boys Video!

First PBB Double Up nominees: Carol, Jason, Jimson and Princess.

Last night saw the first nomination night of the Pinoy Big Brother Double Up season. It will be the housemate’s first experience to nominate one of their peers and to explain their choice. For some, the reality that this is a competition has just started to sink in.

And last night, 4 housemates were declared as nominees from the two houses. Princess and Jason were the top picks for House A. Some housemates found Princess too aggressive and she ended up with 6 points. Jason’s lack of effort in reaching out to other housemates cost him 7 votes. The nominees for House B were Carol and Jimson. Carol’s naiveté worked against her and got her 5 points. Jimson’s distance from the others and the fact that half of a couple will still remain cost him 10 points.

Meanwhile, House A won the weekly task, while House B was saved only by Patrick’s sacrifice. Housemates also gave up a number of their belongings and packed relief goods for the typhoon victims, all of which were distributed by ex-housemates JM, JP, Kenny and Toffi. Several violations were committed, including that of Mariel and Yhel who forgot that no conversation could be hidden..

Who among the four housemates will get your vote? CAROL, JASON, JIMSON and PRINCESS are all in danger of getting evicted out of the house.

Who deserves another week in the house? Voting is now open! Just text BB and send it to 2331 for Globe, TM, Sun Cellular and Bayan Wireless Landline or 231 for Smart and Talk N Text. You can also cast your vote online by logging in to doubleup.pinoybigbrother.com/vote.

A Golden Investment.

They said that gold is the purest form of money. It has been known and highly valued since prehistoric times and it has survived every economy history has ever witnessed. Stocks and other paper investments may weaken due to crises and many outside trends including investment market declines, currency failure, inflation, war and social unrest but this will only cause the price of gold to go up. In fact, investors buy gold as a safe haven in times of crisis. No wonder why there are a growing number of people who are investing in this ultimate asset.

Gold investment can be done directly through gold bullion or gold coin ownership, or it can be through indirect investments like gold exchange-traded funds, certificates, accounts, derivatives or shares.

However, all investments are coupled with risks. So if you are thinking of investing in gold, you should seek professional advice which can show you clearly how to buy the most trusted form of gold in the world, at the best prices, and in the safest and easiest way. You need to be guided accordingly.

Based on some brokers, if you intend to simply capitalize on gold’s price movement in short-term, then bullion coins will serve your purposes. However, if you are interested in long-term asset preservation then you might want to include the lower premium variety of European and American gold coins in the mix. These coins have been treated by the U.S. government since the 1930s as historical items which afford a greater degree of safety than gold bullion.

If you want to know more about this gold investment system, you can visit Gold Coins Gain, an Aurum advisors website.

Planning a vacation.

Everybody needs a vacation. We are entitled to a breather especially if your job is as stressful as mine. Burn out can even cost us our jobs if we didn’t take the opportunity to relax. I understand that our country and most countries of the world are at the verge of recession and some are going through tough times after the devastation wrought by a couple of disasters but this doesn’t mean that we already lost our right to relax and have fun.

It’s been a long time since the last time I took a vacation with my family. It was almost two years ago when my girlfriend and I went to Baguio City, Philippines for the Panagbenga Festival. Earlier this year, our team had an activity and an overnight stay in Zambales for the celebration of the two-year anniversary of our business account.

Recently, a friend who is in South Carolina sent me photos of him and his family having a good time in Myrtle Beach Resorts. He only had good words about the modern accommodation that they experience in the beautiful Prince Resort at the entrance to The Cherry Grove Pier.

They fell in love with the peaceful beauty of Myrtle Beach Resort, with its waterfront location perfect for relaxing and other leisure activities. He said that Prince Resort has superb customer service and has plenty of dining options. Add that to the other exciting features in the resort like the dazzling pools, lazy river, and hot tubs.

I was totally envious of my friend so I started planning a vacation for myself in the coming months. But if you’re near South Carolina and you want to go to the beach for a romantic getaway or a large family reunion, check out Myrtle Beach Accomodations and make your ocean adventure the best one, ever!

PBB welcomes 'double lovers'

"Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Double Up" opened its door to new sets of housemates on last Saturday’s “Spooktacular Reveal.”

PBB welcomed Filipino Austrian Rod Stumvol, champion target shooter Steve Jumalon, banker Patrick Villanueva, medical representative Riza Mae Patria, restaurant server Johan Santos, nurse Cathy Remperas, US balikbayan Hermes Bautista, Jimson Ortega and his Spain-raised wife Kathleen Lopeña, and transvestite Rica Paras.

After they entered the most popular house in the country, Kuya summoned Rod, Patrick, Jimson, Kathleen, and Rica to the confession room to reveal their first task.

Rod and Rica must convince the other housemates that they have been dating for a long time. Meanwhile, Jimson must give way and let his wife Kathleen pretend to be Patrick’s better half.

Kathleen and Patrick have been assigned to House B. Fake lovers Rob and Rica, meanwhile, have been sent to House A.

Success in this task means the house where they are assigned will win 100% additional budget by the end of the week. However, failure might mean that they will have to suffer the same fate as evicted housemates JM Lagumbay and twins Kenny and Toffi Santos.

Will they be able to put a convincing act? Find out on Pinoy Big Brother Double Up weeknights after “Dahil May Isang Ikaw.”

Protein meal replacement bars

My last physical examination revealed that I was overweight and this has prompted me to go back to the gym and take slimming down seriously. It’s been a long time since the last time I went to the gym and I have to admit that it’s overwhelming.

One of the things that I will consider doing religiously is to eat five or six small meals a day to achieve a healthy weight and keep my energy levels high. However, my biggest challenge is I don’t have enough time to cook six meals a day. Recognizing that if there’s a will there’s a way, I’m now considering taking protein meal replacement bars which are also designed for diet and weight loss.

I went online to look for meal replacement bars and found so many different brands and types in the market. It is a good thing that I found a website that offers protein diet bars that provide high-quality protein while being lower in calories. And the good catch is, they even offer Money Back Guarantees on all purchases.

One of twin housemates leaves PBB.

One of the twin housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Double UP,” JP Lagumbay, made a voluntary exit just two days after he joined the ABS-CBN’s hit reality TV show.

Dubbed as "Jetsetter Dad of QC," JP, the twin brother of JM, decided to leave PBB after he was informed that his application for leave has been declined by his employer.

“Kuya” told him that he needed to report for work or he would face sanctions. JP was torn between staying inside the house for his twin brother JM and leaving PBB to go back to his work.

JP confessed that he wanted to stick around for his brother, but he could not lose his job.

In the end, Big Brother respected and supported JP's decision to leave the house.
Meanwhile, theories on the double up twins still abound in the female-dominated House B, but the girls remain clueless about the existence of another house. The opposite is happening in House A where most of the male housemates live. They haven’t noticed the switching of twins, but are suspicious that Big Brother has another house on the other side of the wall.

Did the double up twins fail their first task, or will they be able to disprove the housemates’ theories? What will be Big Brother’s take regarding JP’s early voluntary exit?

Catch the latest news about the housemates and Kuya in “Uber” with Mariel Rodriguez after “Maria De Jesus.”

Get the full story on “Pinoy Big Brother Double UP” with Toni Gonzaga after “Dahil May Isang Ikaw.” And see the housemates in real-time while playing games with Bianca Gonzalez on “PBB Double UPlate” at midnights on ABS-CBN.

Buying Hammerstein Ballroom Tickets.

It is my dream to watch a concert or musical acts on a famous studio like the Hammerstein Ballroom. It has seen performances from popular musical acts like Kelly Clarkson, Kanye West, Incubus, Oasis, Guns N’ Rose among others. It will be certainly a once in a lifetime experience for somebody who is not living in the United States.

However, buying Hammerstein Ballroom Tickets is not an easy task. You go to the venue, wait in the long queue even without an assurance that you will get the prized tickets. Calling the venue may not be a better option.

Contacting an online broker to buy tickets is a better alternative. And when it comes to ticket brokers, always check out acheapseat.com. They pride themselves to have the cheaper prices and great service. You can contact them through e-mail or telephone and you are sure that your questions will be promptly attended by a professional ticket broker.

You can also order Chicago Blackhawks Tickets and Lincoln Financial Field Tickets. They also offer a great selection of concert, theater, and sporting events tickets.

Just like the other “Got Talent” series, the Philippine version will also feature singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other performers from all ages.

Pinay singer Madonna Decena, who rose to fame when she became one of Britain’s Got Talent’s semi-finalists, will be part of the show’s primer.

The “Got Talent” franchise is a British TV format owned by “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell. It is now one of the fastest growing international franchises, spawning spin-offs in over 20 countries.

"Got Talent" is just one of the latest franchise to be acquired by the Kapamilya network after it acquired the rights to air programs after international shows "Big Brother" and "Deal or No Deal."
