In her live interview with "The Buzz," Ai-ai extended her appreciation to all the moviegoers.

"Thank you po, thank you sa lahat, thank you sa Diyos," delas Alas said.

"And congratulations sa lahat ng nanalo sa MMFF, at sa Kapamilya po kay Anne, kay Christopher de Leon at sa lahat ng nanalo," she said.

Buying Madison Square Garden tickets.

It is my dream to watch in a concert or a sporting event in the Madison Square Garden. It is a once in a lifetime experience for somebody who is not living in the United States.

However, buying Madison Square Garden tickets is an arduous task. You go to the venue, wait in the long queue even without an assurance that you will get the prized tickets. Calling the venue may not be a better option.

Contacting an online broker to buy tickets is a better alternative. And when it comes to ticket brokers, always check out acheapseat.com. They pride themselves to have the cheaper prices and great service. You can contact them through e-mail or telephone and you are sure that your questions will be promptly attended by a professional ticket broker.

You can also order Borgata Casino Event Center Tickets and Prudential Center Tickets. They also offer a great selection of concert, theater, and sporting events ticket including US Airways Center Tickets.

For more information, visit their website and know more about their services. You can even buy tickets online.

Updated: ABS-CBN bags exclusive rights for 'Twilight' remake?

Here's an update on this report from the same source:

On December 24, abs-cbnNEWS.com uploaded a story, "ABS-CBN bags rights for local 'Twilight' remake". The source of the story was a report by entertainment writer Edgar Cruz posted on yehey.com.

The duty editor who uploaded the story failed to check with ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. whether the story was correct and accurate.

ABS-CBN Corp. Communications head Bong Osorio has since denied that the company will do a local remake of the movie, Twilight.

abs-cbnNEWS.com thus decided to remove the article from their website.

Here is the original story:

Good news to all Kapamilya fans of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series. ABS-CBN bagged the exclusive rights to make a local television series based on the vampire novels.

Initial reports said ABS-CBN paid $1 million with co-producer Ignite Media for the rights to the Twilight series.

The new series, tentatively titled "Takipsilim", will reunite the onscreen tandem of Rayver Cruz and Shaina Magdayao.

Taping for the series will start February of next year. Some parts of the series will be shot abroad and the other locations include Tagaytay, Bukidnon and Baguio. The series will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.

“Parekoy” airs on January 5.

Our afternoon TV viewing has often been coupled with Tagalog or Mexican soap operas and drama series. However, this will never be the same again as the Kapamilya network changes their afternoon programming by fielding a comedy series on the afternoon block. The program is “Parekoy”, a “komediserye” which will run for only 30 minutes. It has a structure of a teleserye but with a touch and look of a sitcom.

"Parekoy" tells the story of three funny men who enjoy everything that life offers them. It will show the misadventures of John Prats (Joseph), Zanjoe Marudo (Mario) and Jayson Gainza (Jess) as friends and how they think of ingenuous ways to help needy people. A fourth member of their barkada, Ringo, died when they were just teenagers. Ringo's death holds the key to a mystery that will unravel as the story goes along.

The show is like a daily “Palibhasa Lalake” or like the three’s defunct show "Aalog-Alog", but the show ends in a cliffhanger and not with crazy antics like throwing pails of water at each other.

Watch and discover the secrets in the lives of these desirable men as "Parekoy" airs on ABS-CBN this January 5.

Cast:

John Prats, Zanjoe Marudo, Jayson Gainza, Angelu de Leon, Bobby Andrews, Dennis Padilla, Long Mejia, Tetchie Agbayani, Maria Isabel Lopez, Igi Boy Flores, Mikylla Ramirez

Director: Randy Santiago

Dolphy gears for a new TV series.

The King of Comedy Dolphy is already 80 years old but he continues to bring joy to his millions of fans in the Philippines and the rest of the world.

The ace-comedian is happy with the success of the Quizon’s World Tour with his sons and he is gearing up for the teleserye "Utoy" with Makisig Morales which will be shown anytime next year.

He will be playing a Gepetto-like character in the TV series, a toymaker called Papa Chu (Dolphy). He creates a toy which turns out to be defective. Yet it serves as a source of strength and inspiration to a physically-challenged girl, Abby.

Dolphy has done such memorable TV characters in popular sitcoms. Most notable is "John en Marsha”. He later reprised his John Puruntong character in "John En Shirley," with Susan Roces and Maricel Soriano. Prior to that, he starred in another ABS-CBN show, "Quizon Avenue," with sons Eric, Jeffrey and VanDolph. Dolphy also played Kevin Cosme in "Home Along da Riles" on ABS-CBN.

"Utoy," meanwhile, is reminiscent of Dolphy’s award-winning roles in films like "Markova" and "Ang Tatay Kong Nanay”.

At the helm of "Utoy" is director Maryo J. de los Reyes, with writers Pablo Biglangawa and Ronnie Velasco (they wrote the acclaimed film "Inang Yaya") and TV director Rechie Del Carmen.

Other cast members of "Utoy" are out to showcase notable performance – Gloria Diaz, James Blanco, Nikki Bagaporo, Miles Ocampo, Jacob Dionisio, Jordan Herrera, Will Devaughn, Riza Santos, Jon Avila, Yayo Aguila, Ruben Gonzaga, Ethel Booba, Victor Basa, Gaby de la Merced, and Donald Geisler, among others.
